Monday:         Procedures and Expectations.  Discuss materials needed for class everyday and homework policy.
HOMEWORK:    Cover textbooks and review handbooks with
parents.  Remind parents to check books fordamages and sign textbook receipts.

Tuesday:      Review school, team, and classroom procedures for math.     If time allows, we will preview Ch. 1 lesson 1 on problem solving. SPI- 6.2.1
HOMEWORK:    Textbook page 594 lesson 1-1 #s 1-6.

Wednesday:      Students will  take a pre-assessment of math skills to be used as base line data.  This diadnostic will be a begining of the sixth grade year assessment.    S.P.I.- 6.2.1

Thursday:       Due to student difficulty another assessment of math skills will be given in conjunction with test 1.  SPI- 6.1.1, 6.3.3
HOMEWORK:    Bookmark the math website on your computer at home.

Friday:          Classes will review results of the pre-assessment evaluations.  Students will be given graded papers to take home.   New schedules will be given on Monday of new Math classes.   SPI- 6.1.1; 6.1.3; 6.2.1
