Monday: Students will review problem solving steps and ways to solving problems with patterns. Notes and examples from last week’s homework will be provided. Please make sure you have your journal daily. SPI- 6.1.1; 6.1.3; 6.2.1
HOMEWORK: Textbook page 9 #s 8- 15.

Tuesday: Students will continue solving problems with a bellringer review. Begin lesson 2 with divisibility rules. Use journal to copy rules and examples. Text reference pages 10- 13. Classes will take a test on solving problems using the four steps on this FRIDAY. SPI- 6.2.1
HOMEWORK: Textbook page 12 #s 12 - 26 EVEN ONLY.

Wednesday: Students will review lessons 1 & 2 of Chapter 1. Students will use notes to complete a graded practice on divisibility rules. Students will continue to practice with the four steps to solving a problem. S.P.I.- 6.2.1.

Thursday: Classes review divisibility rules as reference to lesson 3, prime factors and factorization of composite numbers. Notes and examples will be provided in journal. Text reference pages 14-16. Don’t forget problem solving steps for quiz tomorrow. SPI- 6.1.1, 6.3.3
HOMEWORK: Page 42 #s 8 & 9 AND page 43 #s 22, 24, 26 only

Friday: Students will take problem solving quiz. Afterwards, students will continue review of prime factorization and preview lesson 4, Powers and Exponents. SPI- 6.1.1; 6.1.3; 6.2.1
