Monday: Return and review problem solving quiz. Afterwards, classes will follow up on lessons 3 and 4 of chapter 1, Prime Factorization and Exponents with guided practice. Text reference pages 16 - 20. Will will have a mid-chapter 1 test on Wednesday of this week. It will cover lessons 1-4. S.P.I.-6.1.2, 6.1.6, 6.1.3
HOMEWORK: Page 43 #s 22 - 30. Even problems only.

Tuesday: Review homework. Online practice of self- checks for lessons 1 to 4 using school laptops. Cooperative groups will play FACTO BINGO from page 23 of text. S.P.I.-6.1.2, 6.1.6, 6.1.3
HOMEWORK: Mid-Chapter Practice page 22 #s 3 - 16 all.

Wednesday: Students will review homework. Afterwards, students will take Mid-Chapter Test for Chapter One. If time allows, we will preview lesson 5- Orders of Operations. S.P.I.-6.1.2, 6.1.6, 6.1.3.

Thursday: Classes will evaluate expressions using the orders of operations. Journal notes and examples will be provided. Text reference pages 24 - 26. SPI- 6.1.3, 6.1.7
HOMEWORK: Page 26 #s 20 - 30 even problems only.

Friday: Review homework and continue to practice skill of Orders of Operations. There will be a quiz on Monday for this skill. Classes will preview lesson 6, Evaluating with Variables and Expressions. SPI- 6.1.7, 6.2.7
