Monday: NO SCHOOL. LABOR DAY WEEKEND.
HOMEWORK: NONE
Tuesday: Students will listen to a Mathematical Folktale from India about math patterns. Students will be given a guidelines for an at home project that relates the story. This will be due: Friday, Sept. 14. Later, Classes will complete any projects from Friday and continue to practice skill of Orders of Operations. There will be a quiz this Thursday. Practice online with self-checks. SPI- 6.1.7, 6.2.7 HOMEWORK: Page 44 #s 32 - 37. Show all steps.
Wednesday: Students will review homework. Afterwards, students will learn to evaluate algebraic expressions in lesson 6. Text reference pages 28 - 31. We will have a workbook practice on lesson 5. S.P.I.-6.1.2, 6.1.6, 6.1.3.
Thursday: Classes will continue to practice evaluating expressions from lesson 6. Later, Complete Orders of Operations quiz. SPI- 6.1.3, 6.1.7
HOMEWORK: NO homework. Rest for Think Link Math Test.
Friday: Math classes will take Think Link Test #1. This is an end of the 5th grade year test. The precentage made will count as a grade. The results of the data may change student schedules. Notice will be sent home on Monday, as well as, the results. SPI- 6.all
