CHAPTER 1 TEST is Wednesday!

Monday:     Math Project Due TODAY.  Chapter review with group activities.  Students will work in groups to complete problem solvings activities, online partner self-checks, and compete in Chapter 1 Video Mind Jogger.  s.p.i.-6.2.7; 6.1.2; 6.2.4; 6.4.7; 6.2.7; 6.1.3; 6.4.
HOMEWORK:    Page 45 #s 3 - 24.

Tuesday:      Students will continue chapter review with a standardized test practice for chapter one on pages 46 - 47 of text.  Later, class will then use letter cards to complete  Chapter 1 Test online using the projector as a pretest practice.  SPI- 6.1.2; 6.2.4; 6.4.7; 6.2.7; 6.1.3; 6.4.
HOMEWORK:    Study for test using Study Guide, text pages 42 - 44

Wednesday:      Students will take Chapter 1 Test.  Complete review of ThinkLink Test 1.      S.P.I.-6.1.2; 6.2.4; 6.4.7; 6.2.7; 6.1.3; 6.4.
HOMEWORK:    none

Thursday:       Classes will preview Chapter 2 with a newpaper activity for collecting and analyzing data. SPI- 6.5.7
HOMEWORK:    Cut out a graph, data retangle, or small story from a
newspaper.

Friday:          Students will complete activity with homework involving  solving problems by using a graph.   Text reference pages 54 - 55.  SPI- 6.5.7

UpComing Events/Reminders

- Math Project is due Monday, Sept. 17th.  Late Projects will inccur a 15 point penalty on Tuesday, Sept. 18th.  No projects will be accepted after Wednesday.

- Chapter 1 Test is Wednesday, September 19th

- Calculators have been ordered.  Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for them to come in.  Thank you for your support.
