CHAPTER 2- Statistics and Graphs

Monday:     Classes will continue to making and interpreting freguency tables of chapter 2.  The focus will be range, scale, and intervals of a data set.  Text reference pages 50- 53.    s.p.i.-6.5.7; 6.5.2
HOMEWORK:    Complete worksheet given in class.

Tuesday:      Students will review homework and continue practice with intepreting bar graphs, line graphs, and circle graphs in lessons 2 and 3 Text reference pages 56 - 59 and 62 - 65.   SPI- 6.5.2, 6.5.7
HOMEWORK:    Page 90 #s  8&9 and page 91 #s10&11

Wednesday:      Classes will review homework and learn to make predictions from line graphs in lesson 4.  Text reference pages 66 - 69.  Students will begin online self-checks for chapter 2.     S.P.I.-6.5.2; 6.5.7 6.5.8
HOMEWORK:    none

Thursday:       Classes will continue review of lessons 1-4.   Chapter 2 with a newpaper activity for collecting and analyzing data. S.P.I.-6.5.2; 6.5.7 6.5.8
HOMEWORK:    Mid-Chapter 2 Practice page 70 #s 3-10.

Friday:          Students will review homework.  Classes will take their Mid-Chapter 2 Test of lessons 1 - 4.  S.P.I.-6.5.2; 6.5.7 6.5.8

UpComing Events/Reminders

- I am continuing to grade the Chapter 1 Story Projects.  Grades will go home next week.  All projects not turned in will reflect a “ZERO” grade on power school.

- Calculators will be in soon.  Thank you for your patience.

- Chapter 2 Project will be completed at school.  However, classes will need bags of skittles and regular singles person bags of plain m&ms.
