CHAPTER 3- Statistics: Analyzing Data
TEST is FRIDAY!!

Monday:     Class will begin lesson 6 of chapter 3.  Box and Whisker Plots.    Students will learn to construct and interpret them.  We will also review the terms RANGE and OUTLIERS. 7th grade Text reference pages 114 - 117.  s.p.i.-7.5.7
HOMEWORK:    Page 116 # 5.  Questions a - i.

Tuesday:      Students will complete lesson 5 & 7, Stem and Leaf plots and Misleading Data with Mrs. Triplett.  Later,  students will review the basics of Box and Whisker plots from yesterday.  7th grade Text reference pages 108 - 111.   SPI- 7.5.7; 7.5.1
HOMEWORK:    Page 124 #s 25 - 28.

Wednesday:      Class will review homework and lessons 1-7 of chapter 3 using study guide pages 122 - 125 for practice of test.   SPI- 7.5.7; 7.5.1    HOMEWORK:    none

Thursday:       Class will continue review chapter with a team competitions including Video MindJogger for Chapter 3 and Q/A sessions.  SPI- 7.5.1; 7.5.7
HOMEWORK:    Practice Test, Page 609 #s 1- 15.

Friday:          Students will review homework then complete Chapter 3 Test of lessons 1 - 7. Test will be multiple choice and journal notes will be allowed.  S.P.I.-7.5.1; 7.5.7; 7.2.10; 7.5.5; 7.5.4

UpComing Events/Reminders

- Chapter 3 Test is Friday.  Journal notes will be used.

- Last day to order a calculator is Thursday, Oct. 4th

- Chapter 3 Project will be completed at school.  However, classes will need bags of skittles and regular singles person bags of plain m&ms.

- Story projects will be given back the Wednesday after fall break.
