CHAPTER 2- Applying Decimals
(7th grade textbook)

CHAPTER TEST IS THIS FRIDAY.

Monday:   Students will review leson 9, scientific notation from Friday.  Text reference pages 77 - 79.  In lesson 7, students will practice learn to express fractions as terminating or repeating decimals.  Text reference pages 70 - 72.  7.1.3    HOMEWORK:    page 82 #s 43 - 48 and #s 57 - 58.

Tuesday:      Students will learn to change metric units of length, capacity, and mass using King Henry’s Steps of Multiplying and Dividing.  Text reference pages 74 - 76.  s.p.i.- 7.1.3
HOMEWORK:    page 82 #s 49 - 56.

Wednesday:      Review homework.  Continue practice with multiplying decimals metric units.  Quiz on tomorrow.  Groups will review with 6th grade text mindjogger video 3.   SPI-  6.4.3,4; 7.4.3
HOMEWORK:    none

Thursday:      Class will review lessons 1 - 9 for chapter test tomorrow.  Students will take a short quiz of lessons 7-9. After review, groups will compete in Ch. 2 Mindjogger Video for the 7th grade text.   SPI- 7.1.9; 6.4.3,4; 7.4.3
HOMEWORK:      Page 80 #s 1 - 10 and  Page 83 #s 59 - 61

Friday:       Class review homework and then take Chapter Test.  Later, students will preview INTEGERS from chapter 5 of the 7th grade text..  PI- 7.1.3, 11
