CHAPTER 4- Multiplying and Dividing Decimals

CHAPTER 3 TEST IS TUESDAY, OCT. 30TH

Monday:     REVIEW for Chapter 3 Test tomorrow.  Classes will get into groups to compete in Ch. 3 Video Mindjogger as a test prep.  s.p.i.- 6.1.8
HOMEWORK:    Practice Test; page 127-28 #s 2 - 32 EVEN ONLY.

Tuesday:      Review homework.  Students will take Ch. 3 Test.  Classes will preview Ch. 4 lesson 1 with a hands-on-lab activity.  Text reference page 134 .  s.p.i.- 6.1.2,5,9
HOMEWORK:    Page 137 #s 16 - 26 even only.

Wednesday:      Review homework.  Continue practice estimating and finding the product of decimals and whole numbers using dry erase boards.  Notes will be taken.  Text reference pages 135-138.   SPI- 6.1.2,5,9
HOMEWORK:    none

Thursday:       In lesson 2, students will multiply decimals by decimals.  Text reference pages 141-143.  Classes will use dry erase boards for practice.   SPI- 6.1.2,5,9
HOMEWORK:      Page 601 lesson 4-2 #s 2 - 14 even only

Friday:       Classes review homework and complete quiz of multiplying decimals.  Later, students will preview dividing decimals in lesson 3. SPI- 6.1.2,5,9,11
