CHAPTER 4- Multiplying and Dividing Decimals
Monday: Students will take field trip to IMAX THEATRE. No math today. HOMEWORK: none.
Tuesday: Students will learn to divide decimals by whole numbers in lesson 3 of chapter 4 and practice using dry erase boards. Students will also learn the difference between terminating and repeating decimals. Text reference page 144- 46 . s.p.i.- 6.1.2,5,9
HOMEWORK: Page 146 #s 12 - 26 even only.
Wednesday: Review homework. Continue practice dividing decimals by whole numbers using dry erase boards. Students will review lessons 1 -3 for mid-chapter test on tomorrow.
HOMEWORK: none
Thursday: Class will complete a mid-chapter test for practice and points on page 148. Later, student will take test. In lesson 4, students will learn the process of dividing decimals by other decimals if time permits. However, notes will be given today. SPI- 6.1.2,5,9
HOMEWORK: Page 154 #s 4 - 12 even only
Friday: Classes review homework and continue practice of dividing decimals using dry erase boards. Lesson 4 reference pages 153 - 55. SPI- 6.1.2,5,9,11
