CHAPTER 6- Adding & Subtracting Fractions

Chapter Test is Friday!!

ENRICHED MATH
Week of January 14 - 18

Monday:     Review Chapter 6 lesson 6 notes with more examples.  Students will practice renaming whole numbers as improper fractions and a renamed Mixed Numbers.  Students will use dry erase boards to practice solving problems.  Text reference page 246.
HOMEWORK:    pp. 607 lesson 6-6 #s 18 - 28 even only.

Tuesday:      Students will review homework and complete enrichment activities with Mrs. Triplett.  Students will recall how to subtract mixed numbers with renaming.
HOMEWORK:    TBA by Mrs. Triplett

Wednesday:      Review homework. Class will review chapter 6 using study guide pages  248 - 250 and online self-checks.  Groups will work on Pyramid Projects.
HOMEWORK:    NONE

Thursday:      Continue chapter 6 review with teams competing in the Video Mindjogger.
HOMEWORK:      Practice Test

Friday:       Classes will review homework.  Afterwards, students will take Chapter 6 Test.  LATER, groups will work on pyramids.
