CHAPTER 7- Multiplying & Dividing Fractions

Chapter Test is THURSDAY!
REGULAR MATH
Week of February 4 - Febraury 8

Monday:     Review dividing fractions and mixed numbers.  Students will take a quiz on Lessons 4 & 5, Dividing Fractions & Mixed Numbers on tomorrow. Later in class students will preview final lesson 6.  This is a review skill from chapter one of finding patterns in a sequence of  numbers. s.p.i.- 6.1.8; 6.1.9; 6.2.1
HOMEWORK:    page 286 #s 26 - 32 all

Tuesday:      Students will review homework as prep for quiz.  After quiz, classes will recall recognizing and extending patterns in lesson 6.  Text reference pages 282 - 284.    s.p.i.- 6.1.8; 6.1.9; 6.2.1
HOMEWORK:    page 287 Practice Test  #s 4 - 25

Wednesday:      Review homework.  Later, Teams will compete in Ch. 7 mindjogger as final review for Test tomorrow. s.p.i.- 6.1.8; 6.1.9

Thursday:  Classes will take Chapter 7 test on Multiplying and Dividing Fractions.      s.p.i.- 6.1.8; 6.1.9

Friday:       TCAP Skills Integration Lesson.  Class will review Circles and Circumference, as well as, explore Associative, Communative, and Distributive Properties as it relates to addition and multiplication of fractions.   Journal Notes and Study Guide Sheet will be provided..
