Monday:     Students will learn to find the percent of a number in lesson 8 of chapter 8 by setting up a proportion.  A key scale, Journal notes and examples will be provided.  Text reference pages 346 - 348.  Students will use calculators and dry erase boards to practice skills. s.p.i.- 7.1.12
HOMEWORK:    page 592 lesson 8-8 #s 2 - 20 even.

Tuesday:      Students will review homework and later learn to solve problems using the percent proportion with Mrs. Triplett in lesson 9. Text reference pages 349 - 351.  Students may have quiz on lesson 8.  s.p.i.- 7.1.12
HOMEWORK: TBA by Mrs. Triplett or page 592 lesson 8-9 #s 2-20 E

Wednesday:      Review homework and the entire Chapter 8 using the Study Guide and Assessment on pages 252 - 355.  Quiz will follow. s.p.i.- 7.1.12

Thursday:  Students will continue review of chapter 8 with activities.  Later, students will work in groups to compete in Chapter 8 Video Mindjogger.  Chapter 8 Test. tomorrow.    s.p.i.- 7.1.12

Friday:       Review homework.  Students will be able to use journal notes and calculator to complete Chapter 8 Test. s.p.i.- 7.2.1
