TCAP REVIEW SKILL: GEOMETRY

Week of February 19 – February 22

Monday:     PRESIDENT’S DAY.  NO SCHOOL.
HOMEWORK:    NONE

Tuesday:      Students will review skills and lessons with Ch. 13 Geometry: Angles and Polygons.  Additional Journal notes, key skills, and examples will be provided.  Pairs will compete in Ch. 13 Video Mind Jogger for final practice of chapter.    s.p.i.- 6.3.6
HOMEWORK:    page 541 #s 3 – 16 all

Wednesday:    Review homework and later work with a partner to complete Ch. 13 Test Geometry: Angles and Polygons. Afterwards students will notes of Area in Chapter 14. ,  s.p.i.- 6.3.6
HOMEWORK:    NONE

Thursday:     Classes will continue to work on TCAP skills from Chapter 14- Geometry: Measuring Area in Parallelograms, Triangles, and Circles.   Journal notes, key skills, and examples will be provided. Text reference pages 547 – 549. s.p.i.- 6.4.4; 6.4.5
HOMEWORK:      page 562 #s 3 – 13 all.

Friday:       Classes will review homework and use notes and calculator to complete a quiz on lessons 1 – 3 of Area of triangles, parallelograms, and circles.  Later students will preview 3-D figures. s.p.i.- 6.4.4; 6.4.5
