Ratio/Rates/Percents 
ALL MATH CLASSES
Week of March 3 - March 7

Monday:     Classes will express ratios and rates in fraction form. Classes will also solve proplems by using cross products. Practice will follow.  Text reference pages 380-388. s.p.i.- 6.4.9; 6.1.10; 6.2.5
HOMEWORK:    page 418-419  #s 10 - 22 even only.

Tuesday:       Classes will review ratios, rates, and proportions with practice activities.  Next, students will use scale drawings and models to find the actual measurements and later using models to illustrate the meaning of percent. Text reference pages 391- 397. s.p.i.- 6.4.9; 6.1.10; 6.2.5; 6.4.6; 6.1.3
HOMEWORK:    page 398 #s 12 - 18 all

Wednesday:    Classes will continue review of scale drawings and percents with homework and class activities. Later, classes will learn to express fractions and decimals as percents and vice verse for each.  Text reference pages 400 - 406.  s.p.i.-6.4.9; 6.1.10; 6.2.5; 6.1.3
HOMEWORK:    NONE

Thursday:     Classes will investegate Probability in Ch. 11.  The concentration will be on Outcomes and making predictions from lessons 1 - 3.  Text reference pages 428 - 440. s.p.i.- 6.5.6; 6.5.9; 6.5.5; 6.5.8
HOMEWORK:      page 442 #s 3 - 10 all.

Friday:       Classes will continue working and practicing TCAP skills from Ch. 11 lessons 1 - 3 and event bais. Students will use laptops to complete some practice probes..s.p.i.- 6.5.6; 6.5.9; 6.5.5; 6.5.8
